Sue made a call to Fortenberry Roofing Co. in hopes of having a member of the sales team meet with her to do a full and thorough inspection of the First Baptist Church in Dimmitt, Texas. Due to a hail storm that it endured. Dexter, Roofing Consultant, met with Sue, and they together discussed the requirements and needs of the building to make sure that it can withstand the coming weather. After Dexter performed the inspection, he then spoke with Sue about all the damage that was done, along with picture verification. With all the information, Sue took it to the board and informed them of exactly what was needed for the roof to be replaced. When all parties involved agreed to move forward with FRC and the team to begin the work.
Dexter then spoke with Robert, Production Manager, and the crew about the specifics of this project. Which would include VeloraOne Synthetic Underlayment, Sealoron XT Ice and Water Shield, and IKO Dynasty Shingles in color Cornerstone. After all materials were ordered and delivered, Robert and the roofing crew were scheduled to begin the removal of all damaged shingles and other material that was to be replaced.
The crew began at the lower level of the building, removing all the old shingles and underlayment to prepare the roof for the new materials. With the roof set and ready for the Sealoron XT Ice and Water Shield, which is needed in the valleys and other areas where it is required to protect for moisture, they then laid the VeloraOne Synthetic Underlayment on the entire roof for added moisture protection. After those materials were laid, they went and began the installation of the IKO Dynasty shingles of choice.
With the hard work of all the FRC team, this roof replacement was executed with precision and attention to detail.

He also made sure to tac down any loose or lifting shingles that he saw on the roof in order to avoid them being blown off in the future.
