Roof Replacement Photo Album: High quality Roof Replacement in Dimmitt, Texas
Mr. Furr from Dimmitt, Texas, contacted Fortenberry Roofing Co. with concerns about possible hail damage to his roof following a recent storm. Our Lead Salesman, Dexter, promptly met with Mr. Furr to conduct a thorough inspection and assessment.
During the inspection, Dexter discovered significant hail damage, including multiple major impacts to the shingles, and advised that a full roof replacement was necessary to ensure the integrity of the home. He presented Mr. Furr with a detailed proposal outlining the replacement of the entire roofing system using Class 4 impact-resistant Nordic shingles by IKO, known for their superior durability and potential insurance discounts. The proposal also included replacing all flashing, vents and installing a new ridge vent system.
Mr. Furr was impressed by the professionalism and expertise Dexter provided and chose Fortenberry Roofing Co. for the job. Without delay, Dexter coordinated with our Project Manager, Robert, to begin the replacement process. Robert and his crew quickly removed the old shingles and ridge cap, uncovering three sections of rotted decking during the tear-off. These areas were promptly removed and replaced with new decking to restore the roof’s structure. The team then installed ice and water shield in key areas, including the valleys, laid down synthetic underlayment across the roof deck, and installed 25 squares of IKO Nordic shingles along with 24 feet of ridge vent and a high-profile ridge cap. The result was a high-performance roofing system designed to withstand future weather events while enhancing curb appeal.
Mr. Furr was extremely pleased with the outcome and expressed his gratitude for the crew’s hard work and attention to detail, so much so that he couldn’t wait to recommend Fortenberry Roofing Co. to his neighbors.
