Mrs. Gray of Ralls, Texas, reached out to Fortenberry Roofing when her old, damaged roof began leaking and showing signs of severe wear. During the inspection, Dexter found that her roof was in dire need of replacement due to missing shingles, compromised decking, and overall deterioration. The team started by carefully removing all old shingles down to the felt, where they discovered damaged decking. The crew promptly repaired the compromised sections with new decking, ensuring a strong foundation for the new roof system.   Next, the crew installed VeloraOne Synthetic Underlayment and Sealron XT Ice & Water Shield for superior waterproofing and long-term durability. They followed up with the installation of vent flashing and step flashing around critical areas of the home to ensure proper ventilation and protection against leaks.     Finally, the new shingles in Emerald Green were installed, giving Mrs. Gray’s home not only enhanced protection but also a beautiful new look.
