Roof Repair Photo Album: Transition Repair in Lubbock, Tx 79424
A Lubbock homeowner contacted Fortenberry Roofing with an urgent roof leak above her porch, causing water damage and significant worry. Miguel, a Residential Lead Supervisor, promptly inspected the roof, identifying the leak's source and providing a comprehensive estimate. The proposal detailed removing existing shingles, installing new flashing, and other crucial roofing components. Impressed, the homeowner approved the work.
Fortenberry Roofing crew Led by Leo V. and Tory B., the crew carefully removed two rows of existing roof shingles to access the roof deck. They installed 35 linear feet of custom-fabricated, cocoa-brown flashing for a watertight seal between the roof and porch. Recognizing the low .5/12 roof pitch, they added two rows of closure strips to prevent water back-up under the shingles. A premium ice and water shield membrane was also installed for enhanced protection. Finally, new architectural shingles, matching the existing ones, were meticulously reinstalled.
The completed repair eliminated the leak and provided long-term protection. The relieved homeowner expressed sincere gratitude for the prompt, professional service.
