Roof Repair Photo Album: Removal of Pipe Flashing and Repair Leak in Lubbock, Texas
Mr. Perrin contacted Fortenberry Roofing Co. regarding a leaking issue on his roof. Our salesperson, Dexter, promptly scheduled an inspection at the earliest available opportunity to assess the situation. Upon arrival, Dexter conducted a thorough inspection and identified the cause of the leak. He sat down with Mr. Perrin to present a detailed proposal outlining the necessary repairs. Dexter determined that the roof would need to be repaired by removing damaged shingles and replacing the existing pipe flashing. To ensure a more durable solution, he recommended adding an ice and water membrane. Additionally, the proposal included the installation of a new 4-in-1 auto-calk flashing and new shingles that would match the existing roof design.
Mr. Perrin was in agreement with the plan, and the project was set into motion. Dexter then met with our experienced roofing crew to ensure they were fully briefed on the scope of work. The team moved quickly and efficiently to get started.
Robert A. and Noel D. removed the old 4-inch lead boot and five surrounding shingles. They replaced the old boot with a new, more durable 4-in-1 vent flashing system. The crew also replaced the damaged shingles, installed six pieces of step flashing, resealed the chimney, and touched up the paint to match the existing roof color.
Mr. Perrin was absolutely thrilled with the work performed by the Fortenberry Roofing crew. He expressed his satisfaction with the speed, professionalism, and quality of the repairs, ensuring that his roof is now in excellent condition.
