Roof Repair Photo Album: Shingle Replacement in New Home, Texas
When a strong windstorm swept through West Texas recently, Mrs. Alcott of New Home, TX, noticed several shingles had blown off her roof. As a longtime customer of Fortenberry Roofing, she gave us a call right away to take a look.
Dexter Baker, our Lead Salesman, scheduled a free inspection and met with Mrs. Alcott to assess the damage. After a thorough review, he explained that repairs were needed on the North Slope of the roof. Around five bundles of shingles would need to be replaced across two areas, along with approximately 30 feet of ridge cap.
Fortunately, Mrs. Alcott had some leftover shingles from the last roof replacement we had done for her, and she asked if we could use them. Dexter confirmed they were a match and could be worked into the repair. They both agreed it was best to take care of the damage as soon as possible to avoid any further issues.
Dexter quickly organized our crew, and Robert and Noel—two of our experienced roofing technicians—got to work. They replaced about 38 shingles that had been torn off or damaged in the storm and installed 36 new shingles along the ridge.
The job was completed efficiently and with attention to detail, and Mrs. Alcott was very pleased with the results. We were glad to help restore her roof and give her peace of mind once again.
