Fortenberry Roofing Company received a call from Alita requesting a roof estimate, and Michael was scheduled to meet with her to address concerns regarding the condition of her current roof. Upon arrival, Michael conducted a thorough inspection of the property, assessing the storm-related damage, measuring the entire roof system, and taking detailed photographs to document all affected areas.

Following the inspection, Michael met with Alita to review the findings, presenting the inspection report and photographs while discussing the available options for a complete roof replacement. After all questions were addressed and the scope of work was reviewed, approval was given for the FRC crew to proceed with the next steps in the replacement process.

Michael then coordinated with Robert, the Production Manager, providing all project-specific details to ensure a smooth installation. Robert and the roofing crew were then scheduled to begin the tear-off phase, removing the old damaged shingles, underlayment, and any other compromised roofing materials.

Once the roof deck was properly prepared, the crew installed all new roofing components in the correct sequence, including the underlayment, ice and water shield, shingles, and upgraded ventilation system. By following industry best practices and manufacturer specifications, the FRC team ensured the new roof was built for long-term durability, performance, and protection of Alita's home.

Mrs. Schrotder, a resident of Lubbock, Texas, was in the market to upgrade her insulation in her home. Her home had old dirty insulation from 1973.  Miguel set an appointment to give Mrs. Schrotder a free quote.

In finding the problems they both came to an agreement to remove all insulation and vacuum out the entire attic. Air seal the entire attic with fire retardant foam. Any big opening will be filled with silverglo boards & sealed with foam. Air sealing all penetrations and vents. Installing 3 can light covers. Lastly installing 10” of cellulose insulation to obtain R- 38 Value.
